Tesla rejected aspects of Einstein's relativity and claimed that he had developed an alternative physical principle concerning matter, energy, and gravity. In 1937 he stated that he had completed a dynamic theory of gravity that would replace concepts based on curved space.
No complete, peer-reviewed formulation of this proposed theory is known to have been published. The surviving references consist largely of Tesla's statements in interviews, letters, and reports rather than a mathematical theory that can be independently tested.
The term therefore refers to a historical claim associated with Tesla rather than an accepted theory of gravitation. Modern gravitational physics is based primarily on general relativity, which has been tested through astronomical observations, precision experiments, and the detection of gravitational waves.
