Kotov's Method

Finds the underlying "quantum" that a set of measured values best fits as near-integer multiples of — scored across a range of trial values and plotted as a commensurability spectrum. Peaks mark trial values the data set clusters around most tightly. Each input can optionally carry a weight (e.g. mode amplitude), so strong, well-measured inputs count more toward the fit than weak ones — the variant used for solar p-mode beat analysis.

Leave weight off for an unweighted fit (e.g. planetary distances). Add a weight (e.g. p-mode amplitude) to make strong, well-measured inputs count more.
