This role is essential for ensuring the accuracy of our sitework, from initial topographic mapping to final as-built collections. You will work closely with our field superintendents and project managers to provide high-precision data that keeps our high-impact projects on track and within tolerance. The ideal candidate brings 5 years of professional surveying experience, a mastery of modern GPS and robotic total station technology, and a commitment to the "safety-first" culture that defines our team. How You Will Make an Impact: * Execute high-precision field surveys for civil, utility, and heavy highway projects to ensure absolute accuracy. * Utilize advanced GPS, robotic total stations, and drones to collect and process critical field data. * Interpret complex project plans and technical specifications to establish vital reference points and boundaries. * Coordinate directly with Project Managers and Superintendents to verify site controls and resolve technical discrepancies. * Maintain and calibrate sophisticated surveying instruments to guarantee the integrity of all project measurements. * Document detailed field reports and digital records to maintain project transparency and historical accuracy. * Enforce strict OSHA safety standards across all jobsites to protect the team and the community. Required Qualifications & Experience: * Minimum of 5 years of professional land surveying experience specifically within civil construction or sitework. * Proven proficiency with modern surveying equipment, including Leica, Trimble, or Topcon, and GNSS systems. * Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex construction plans, site grades, and technical documents. * Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills necessary for real-time field calculations. Preferred Qualifications & Experience: * Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license or Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) status. * Experience utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or specialized survey processing software. * Possession of OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
