The Conflicts team plays a critical role in supporting the Firm's client and matter intake process and upholding its professional responsibility obligations. The team is responsible for identifying, reviewing, and helping resolve potential conflicts of interest and related business-intake issues arising from new clients, new matters, lateral hires, and other firm initiatives. Working closely with attorneys and professional staff across the Firm's global offices, the Conflicts function helps facilitate timely, accurate, and thoughtful conflict review in accordance with applicable rules of professional conduct and Firm policies. The Conflicts team also supports the maintenance of conflicts-related data and processes, contributes to the efficient opening of new matters, and helps protect the Firm and its clients by promoting sound risk management practices. This function requires strong analytical skills, careful attention to detail, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. JOB SUMMARY: The Conflicts Analyst assists in managing procedures related to new business for the firm and working closely with Conflicts Attorneys and the members of the team on the facilitation of review, analysis, identification, and processing of requests.
