Old cyclesi group and spam

Both the old cyclesi Yahoo group and this forum have been subject to huge quantities of spam. It is not feasible to continue to properly run two cycles locations. I have sent an email message to all cyclesi members (including those that don't get posts by email) inviting them to join this Forum.

The cyclesi group membership is now closed so as to keep spammers out. Existing members can continue to post, but I will not actively control the group. I might (as I did today) remove offensive people from being members.

Spam has been a serious problem for CRI Forum. We have now implemented a new policy. All new members are moderated. No posts will appear in the forum without first being checked by our volunteers. This will completely eliminate spam at the cost of some delay in your posts appearing. We hope to allow trusted members to post without delay in the future. Until then, please tolerate this delay in the interests of keeping the forum spam free.
